About Weddings and Beyond
It started as a blog used to jot down notes as a bride-to-be was surfing the net for ideas for her wedding. As the days toward her wedding day flew by, she blogged less and less, busy because of all the wedding preparations. She kept a big binder, though, which contained all wedding-related documents, caterer packages, gown designs, receipts and the like. Weeks after her big day, clearing that binder would be a hard task for her as she gets too sentimental with all her wedding paraphernalia. She therefore rehashed her blog and created a website that documented her wedding preparations, the wedding day itself and other post-wedding activities.
Years into the marriage, as the couple had children, the bride wanted to document other stuff beyond the wedding. Thus, Weddings and Beyond was born.
